Build Muscle And Lose Fat

 CREATE A BODYBUILDERS BODY
Learn From People's Advice And Mistakes On How To Bodybuild

Trying to build muscle and lose fat is the Holy Grail of all bodybuilders. To build muscle at the optimum rate your intake of calories and nutrients need to be be more than your body needs because if it was less basically your body is ready to grow but is waiting for the tools to do so. To lose fat your intake of calories needs to be less than your body needs so your body burns fat for energy. So common sense tells you that you can't do the two things at the same time.
This is why proffessional bodybuilders are so meticulous with their diet by weighing all their foods out every day and getting their carbs, protein and fats in the right ratio. They dedicate a period of time were they build muscle at the optimum rate. During this time they taking in more calories and nutrients than they need and grow at the maximum rate. Then they have a period of time were they lose fat, this is called "cutting" and is usually done a few weeks before a competition.
To keep the cutting time to a minimum and stay in the muscle building phase longer they get the diet side of bodybuilding down to a pure science so they are taking a tiny percentage more calories every day than they need so top bodybuilders never try to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.
